Welcome to Heyz Cafe! On this page you will be able to find some of the delicious treats we bake and take to our pop ups. Before we dive into all that delectableness let's give a quick who, what, when, where, and why shall we?

First Who? Who is me my name is Amanda and I go by A. I started what I like to call the Big H. Which is Heyz cafe and Her Place Books.

What is it? Heyz cafe and Her Place Books is a bookstore cafe combo.

When? The first idea to start a restaurant came to me when I was little. The bookstore came to me last March in 2024. But we officially started and opened March 9th of this year. At the same popup I was at when I had the idea to do this.

Where are you located? We are nomadic or mobile. Whichever term floats your boat. We do plan to be storefront side this fall though. Where should we open though??? Message us on Instagram and let us know.

Why? It's been a few years since I noticed that no matter where we(my family) were people followed us. Not in a creepy way like we could go to a restaurant or a store that was dead. Then all of sudden it's like "Oh they are there. We should go to!" After that my parents used to always say we need to open a restaurant or something. So here it is! We used to drive around downtown at night and see the lights and pretend we had a restaurant down there called Heys. I vividly remember my mom going hey welcome to heys. So that's why were called Heyz. I changed the s to z for dramatic affect.
